(If Individuals enroll on/after Dec. 16th, through the final deadline of Jan. 15th, ACA coverage will be effective on Feb. 1, 2026) Small Businesses can enroll in the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) without meeting the minimum participation rate (MPR) requirement from Nov. 15th – Dec. 15th. This means that employers can offer SHOP coverage to their employees without requiring a certain percentage of them to enroll.
